In-Home Family Needs Assessment

All Individualized Action Plans start with a complete understanding of the person with ASD’s strengths and needs within the family and community context.

Family Education

There is a wealth of available information about autism spectrum disorders, but this information is of little use to a family unless they can apply the information to their loved one with autism.  Our family education programs are individualized so that the family can begin to understand the unique way autism presents in your loved one.

Learning to accept and appreciate the unique qualities of your loved one is the key to accelerating the development of your loved one.

Group Trainings

Group Trainings address a variety of issues about living with autism.  Behavior, Life Planning, Adjusting to Living with Autism, Acceptance, Grief, Sleeping and Eating Problems are just some of the topics our group trainings cover.

Social Skills Training Programs and Groups

A key need for persons with autism is to learn how neurotypical people think.  Social Thinking, designed by Michelle Garcia Winner, is a nationally acclaimed social cognitive development program for persons with ASDs.  Students learn the language of socialization in order to learn to adapt to social situations.  Each social skill class contains a parent education component which helps parents also learn how their loved one with ASD thinks about the world.
