In-Home Family Needs Assessment

All Individualized Action Plans start with a complete understanding of the person with ASD’s strengths and needs within the family and community context.

Family Education

There is a wealth of available information about autism spectrum disorders, but this information is of little use to the family of a person with autism unless they can apply the information to their loved one with autism.  Our family education programs are individualized so that the family can begin to understand the unique way autism presents in their loved one.

Learning to accept and appreciate the unique qualities of your loved one is the key to accelerating the development of your loved one.

Behavior Skills Development and Intervention

Learning acceptable behavior is like learning any other functional skill.  Spectrum assists families in designing Positive Behavior Support Plans for easier daily living with their loved one with ASD.

Educational Services for Parents and Children

Spectrum provides individually-designed functional skills, daily living, and community-based training programs to persons with ASD.

Social Skills Training Programs and Groups

A key need for persons with autism is to learn how neurotypical people think.  Social Cognitive Therapy helps them do just that. Students learn the language of socialization in order to learn to adapt to social situations.
