In-Home Trainer |
| A certified paraprofessional, Annette Amos spends her days promoting education and independence to families with special needs. Having worked with families and persons with special needs for more than 25 years, Annette is highly skilled in many areas.Annette has devoted her career to teaching and encouraging children with special needs, and parents and educators of children with special needs. She provides support and training as they assist children with autism spectrum disorders and other special needs to develop the skills necessary to function independently in the classroom and the community.
After more than 10 years as an in-home and parent trainer with Templeton Educational Services and Spectrum Autism Services, Annette has been well trained in the ideologies and programs developed by Fran Templeton. Annette also has served as an in-home and parent trainer for the Johnson County Educational Co-op; para-educator, in-home trainer and inclusion and English as a Second Language specialist in the Joshua ISD; and as a trainer at the San Antonio State School. Annette currently is owner of Day Star Educational Systems, a program offering adult services for persons with severe autism. |
